The Global Compact
For several years, NIEF PLASTIC Company has been committed to the respect of the environment and work conditions.
Consequently, a real management policy (see Politique Environnementale & Santé-Sécurité, in french)conducted by an Environment and Health-Security Commission made up of staff members was established.
Thus, the implication of all the company staff has allowed NIEF PLASTIC to obtain the ISO 14001 certification in 2001 and the OHSAS 18001 certification in November 2005. Also, our management systems allow us to reach our aims in continuous way of improvement (see Communication on progress).
On that account, joining the GLOBAL COMPACT (see the Commitment letter sent to the United Nations) and adhering to its fundamental principles is logical.
The aim of this organisation is to promote the respect of human rights, work conditions and environmental protection within the frameworks of the economical activities of companies. NIEF PLASTIC is already fully involved in such processes.
This allows NIEF PLASTIC to assure its citizenship within the community by uniting economical, social and environmental stakes.
Consequently, NIEF PLASTIC has taken the necessary efforts leading to the sustainable development of the society and wishes to continue in this way.
